Q1: What is the minimum rental period for breast pump rentals?
A: The minimum rental period is 3 days for personal pickup or Lalamove delivery. For postal rentals to Sabah and Sarawak, the minimum period is 5 days.
Q2: Is there a deposit required for renting a breast pump?
A: Yes, a standard deposit of RM100 is required for all brands. For specific brands such as Medela, Momcozy, WILLOW, and EUFY, a deposit of RM150 is required to confirm your booking.
Q3: What happens if I need to cancel or shorten my rental period?
A: Please note that there are no refunds if the renter cancels or shortens the rental period.
Q4: Can I exchange or transfer rented pumps with others during the rental period?
A: Rented pumps cannot be exchanged or transferred during the rental period.
Q5: What should I do in case of loss or damage to the pump or accessories?
A: Any loss or damage to pumps and accessories must be compensated according to the current sale price of the pump or accessories.
Q6: How should I return the pump after the rental period?
A: The renter must return the pump cleaned, dried, and ready for use.
Q7: What costs am I responsible for during the rental?
A: The renter must pay the rental rate, the deposit, and all postage costs. All postage costs, including two-way insurance postage, are the responsibility of the renter.
Q8: How do I extend my rental period?
A: If you wish to extend the rental period, you must inform us 2-3 days in advance and pay the rental rate immediately.
Q9: What happens if I return the pump late?
A: If the renter fails to return or post the pump late from the expected date, the rental will be considered ongoing, and the renter must pay the rental rate for the extended period.
Q10: What are my obligations regarding the care of the pump?
A: The renter must take good care of the pump and ensure that the pump and accessories are returned in good condition.
Q11: What documentation is required for the rental?
A: The renter must provide a copy of a crossed-out ID, utilities as rental documents, and a second contactable phone number to protect our assets.
Q12: When does the rental period officially begin?
A: The rental period begins one day after the pump arrives at the renter’s address.
Q13: When will my deposit be returned?
A: The deposit will be returned after the owner receives the rented pump and accessories in good condition, without any damage, and cleaned and dried. The deposit return process may take 1-5 working days.
Q14: What actions may be taken if I violate the terms and conditions?
A: The contract may be canceled if the renter violates the established terms and conditions. We reserve the right to take appropriate actions, including legal action, if damages or compensation are not settled.
Q15: Are there any specific conditions for receiving the pump?
A: The renter must take photos or videos of the pump and accessories upon receipt. Proof of the condition must be sent via WhatsApp within 4 hours of delivery.
Q16: Is the use of the ‘fridge hack’ method allowed?
A: No, the use of the ‘fridge hack’ method is not permitted.
